nursing informatics jobs. I learned nursing informatics "on the job" at SAIC. They want your "domain expertise" as a health care professional to design, test and train staff on clinical software applications. It is a HOT field. I loved it. I moved away from my clinical IT job and can't find anything remotely (bummer). There many jobs posted on the ned. Try Hospitalsoup.com for hospital jobs with clinical it. Money is great and so are the system/software headaches but I would never trade it back to bed side nursing..Be focues and persistent. If you don't mind travelling there are tons of jobs with medical device and pharmaceutical companies.
