Implementation Consultant - Clinical (RN)

The Clinical Implementation Consultant – RN is responsible for implementation of Medication Management software product(s) according to a pre-defined project plan and documentation. They are the clinical expert on the project team leading workflow analysis to build, design, test, and install our medication management systems. The Clinical Application Analyst will also be responsible for support, training, and guidance to new and existing hospital customers; and perform other duties as assigned.

General Responsibilities:
* Recommends customer improvements that optimizes and adds value for the customer focusing on process improvement and medication safety opportunities.
* Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
* Managing client expectations
* A clinical expert and facilitator of our medication administration and documentation solution (MediMAR) and our clinician order solution (MediCOE)
* A professional liaison between Clients and Mediware
* Provide system training and support for nurses and physicians
* Work with our clients to develop site-specific training programs

Required Education and Experience:
* An RN with a minimum of 5 years acute care experience in Med/Surg or Critical Care
* 2 years experience implementing / maintaining a healthcare information system (Bridge, Eclipsys, Cerner, or similar products) required
* Experience with and working knowledge of clinical systems
* Clinical workflow expertise
* Excellent facilitation skills
* Excellent organizational and presentation skills
* Able to travel up to 70%.

Preferred:
* Experience with MS Project

The job is located in Lenexa, KS, (Greater Kansas City area) however for the right candidate they may be able to work from their home remotely.
