Personal health records begin to catch on
Several IT vendors have begun to offer personal health records, with prices starting at $44.95 for a CD or $24.95 for a year's subscription to a service. The biggest challenges facing PHRs include privacy concerns and providers who have been slow to accept computerized versions of patient records or lack the technical skills to use them.
