RN for five years and would like to get away from bed-side nursing (I'm just too old for that). I'm just starting to research this "Nursing Informatics" field but from what I've read so far it sounds very interesting. I'd like to know some basic things like - What's a day on the job of an informatics person look like? How much money can you expect to make? What are the basic education requirements to get started?
