The individual in this position serves as the Domain Expert and provides direct field support to the Hospital Systems Sales organization. Foremost it means positioning yourself as a credible domain expert. It also includes articulating product strategy and functionality, collaborating with the sales representative, consulting with prospects and/or their selection committee, pro-actively identifying and escalating any obstacles that would prevent a successful departmental or enterprise sale, and preparation of a transition summary post contract signing. This role relies extensively on domain expertise, followed by consulting skills, polished communications, and personal savvy in customer satisfaction and positive interaction. Involves high degree of travel to prospective customer sites.
At the end of 6 months of service this employee should be able to accomplish the following:

 Exhibit a high level of domain knowledge and be able to apply that expertise in a commercial information systems sales environment
 Demonstrate command of the product(s) specific to your expertise/domain, maintain current perspective on evolving issues in our market space, particularly those within your domain via current certifications, CE's and research
 Establish and maintain a knowledge of competitors in your domain and be able to articulate the strengths of our strategy and product / service offerings in response to competitive comparisons
 Full grasp of Misys positioning of our products, and services and ability to relay this messaging with indisputable competence
 Effectively work collaboratively with internal business units
 Ability to work autonomously to help drive successful closure of sales engagements
 100% documentation of escalated issues, transition documents, status reports
 Demonstrate your commitment to the success of the sales process and the Technical Solutions team by sharing information, assisting members of the sales marketing team and exhibiting a high energy positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Nursing / Medical / Health informatics background with a minimum of 5 years practical clinical hospital experience including an acute understanding of workflow, processes, and data flow within the healthcare enterprise. Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing, advanced degree preferred. Proven consulting and presentation skills essential to help convey complex clinical concepts and to assist customers in understanding the positive impacts of system implementation / and integration. Experience in process re-engineering, system implementations and workflow redesign a must. Desire and commitment to maintaining current perspective on emerging trends in the evolving healthcare information market.
