Post [wired: med tech] Down's Syndrome Mice Offer Hope
Capping 13 years of research, scientists successfully implant a human chromosome in mice, effectively re-creating Down's syndrome in the animals. The achievement could help researchers tease out genes that cause the genetic disorder.
