Emergency Department Information System Manager

We are searching for a motivated individual, with a clinical background, to function as the Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) Manager. We are in the opening phase of implementing HealthMatics, a comprehensive, state of the art, information system that will result in a completely digital emergency department including registration, triage, tracking board, nursing and physician charting, order entry, results reporting, disposition and billing.


You will become a member of the ED management team while actively participating in initiatives to use this powerful information system as a tool to improve clinical performance, patient safety and patient satisfaction. The job will include staff training, upkeep of the clinical database, system trouble shooting, and producing data reports for billing and QI purposes.

The qualified candidate is required to have a clinical background (RN, NP or PA), strong basic computer skills and competency with Microsoft Office. Advanced computer training is not a prerequisite, extensive HealthMatics training will be provided. The position is full time with a flexible schedule, competitive salary and a full benefit package.
