RN Informatics Specialist

The primary responsibilities of the RN Informatics include:

• Participating in the applications implementation and maintenance in relation to the Clinical Application Products in Cerner (PowerChart, Orders Management, Millennium Mobile, BMDI, Clinical Documentation, PowerChart Office and MD order entry).
• Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• production support,
• documented process flow improvements,
• table/profile building,
• application training/education,
• end-user support and communication,
• computer operations support,
• participation in future application implementations or enhancements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years experience in the nursing profession.
• Competent on MS Office products including Word, Excel, Visio and MS Project. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BSN
• RN

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current RN License
• Nursing Informatics Certification (Preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of Cerner Applications, and/or other clinical systems.
