Job Title: Informatics Nurse

Job Description:

• This position is for the Interoperability project.
• The informatics nurse has the responsibility and accountability of overseeing the investigation, development, and implementation of new technology as it relates to clinical practice and serves as a liaison between the clinical and the technical personnel.
• Responsibilities include thoroughly analyzing pre-innovation workflow and the impact new innovations may have on all affected clinicians and their work flow, post-implementation, as well as, participating in the implementation of new technologies in order to facilitate process improvement.
• Being a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and five years acute care nursing experience and a current PA licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse are all required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, a strong understanding of information systems design, integration and functionality are also required.
• Certification in nursing informatics highly preferred.
