Program Manager, Healthcare Informatics Responsibilities: As a part of the engagement delivery team, the Program Manager, Healthcare Informatics is responsible for leading and performing specific components of an engagement(s). Serves as an expert resource in the functional and/or operational utilization of Centricity Business Informatics and related toolsets for physician and/or hospital, clinical, revenue cycle and business processes.
- Tailor Information Management program and/or customer operational procedures to maximize customer and Centricity Business Advantage (CBA) business performance;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Center of Excellence (COE) Leadership and members of the customer management team. Normal day to day contacts for this position will include executive leaders, clinic and physician office managers and those responsible for practice management operations for CBA customer administrative and clinical focus areas;
- Coordinate the practice management report production and distribution functions to ensure accuracy and timely reporting;
- Performs daily engagement level activities required to ensure timely, successful service level delivery related to the CBA Information Management Program in a manner consistent with contract terms and conditions and GE Healthcare Strategic Sourcing Methodologies;
- Documenting and reporting status to internal and external leadership
- Providing feedback to the leadership on service level performance;
- Escalating project risks and issues to leadership in a timely manner;
- Research project scope and requirements;
- Research and present solution models;
- Works closely with company Business Development function to contribute to the growth and profitability of the service line. Signature:
Requirements
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business or finance preferred, or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience lieu of degree
- Minimum of five years healthcare information management experience;
- Prior experience with patient accounting systems and software applications related to them;
- Prior demonstrated experience responding to customer inquiries including processes their requests to resolution
- Experience interacting with internal and external clients
- Ability to manage multiple complex and concurrent projects
- Must be willing to take drug test
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work out of an office in/near New Brunswick NJ
- Willingness to travel to client locations
Desired: - Understanding of and experience with Centricity Business Informatics and Centricity Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience in Deploying real time database structures
