Interesting article in the current issue of Advance for Health Information Executives focuses on the impact
of technology on nurses. Nurses often practice in very stressful environments and the introduction of new technology
can often be an added stress as well as a “productivity disabler.” But technology is here to stay, and can be an
enabler if designed and used correctly. Tools designed by and for nurses are often the best bet.
