FYI on an upcoming nursing informatics education opportunity:

The Delaware Valley Nursing Computer Network (DVNCN) is delighted to
sponsor a Weekend Immersion in Nursing Informatics (WINI) two day
conference on January 12 & 13, 2007. The conference will be held at
Siemens Medical Solutions corporate headquarters in Malvern,
Pennsylvania, 15 miles from Philadelphia. The conference focuses on
trends and issues in practice facing the nursing profession and provides
a comprehensive examination of nursing informatics theories, impact of
human factors, systems analysis, and design approaches. Methods for
managing information systems, as well as the evaluation of information
technology are included. The content provides an opportunity to prepare
for the ANCC Nursing Informatics Certification Exam and is conducted by
certified informatics nurses.
