The Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI) is a collaboration of organizations that represent a unified voice for nursing informatics in the United States. Please come to hear Joyce Sensmeier, MS, RN-BC, CPHIMS, FHIMSS who is the Vice President for Informatics for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) discuss ANI’s current activities. Discover the benefits to your everyday practice. This presentation will be followed by a panel of nursing informatics experts from the Delaware Valley who will discuss their roles, responsibilities and the structure of nursing informatics within their organizations.

Joyce Sensmeier, MS, RN-BC, CPHIMS, FHIMSS is the Vice President for Informatics for the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). She has served in many roles to advance the discipline of nursing informatics. She will discuss the Alliance for Nursing Informatics, its structure, mission and membership as well as how this organization can impact the everyday practice of the informatics nurse. ANI represents more than 2,000 nurses and brings together 20 distinct nursing informatics groups in the United States.
