We are looking for abstracts that will address the practical use of technology to support frontline nurses as they do their work. We are particularly interested in the presentation of real life experiences, the success and failures, when using technology to support nursing practice. We encourage first time poster presenters to submit abstracts. The following topics are meant as suggestions and are not considered all-inclusive of potential presentations:
Abstract text must be typed and should not exceed 500 words. Your posters should visually identify your program or research project by depicting concepts and context at a glance. Authors will have the opportunity to discuss materials and provide related handouts. The poster session will take place during a scheduled break. It will be held adjacent to the refreshments. This will encourage ample networking. The author, or designate, should hang posters on the prepared stands prior to 9am. The size of the posters should be no larger than 4' by 8' and be able to be hung using pushpins, which will be provided. For more information regarding posters you may contact Denise Goldsmith Target Audience Chief Nursing Officers, Clinical Directors, Nurse Managers, Nurses and all Information Technology professionals who are concerned with the impact of technology on nursing practice at the bedside.
