NANDA-I Conference ‘08
November 13-15, 2008, in Miami, Florida USA.

Experience Miami while at the same time experiencing the new NANDA International Conference. Previous attendees will re-experience the dynamic interactive dialogues on diagnostic issues and diagnosis development. Explore a new direction for NANDA International’s classification system, which will broaden the classification of the scope of nursing practice.

Sessions will focus on the application of nursing diagnosis and other standardized nursing languages (SNLs) in clinical practice and all types of educational programs.

Participants will have opportunities to dialogue with nurses from across the world on diagnosis development, and on electronic applications, clinical integration, research strategies and innovative teaching applications for all SNLs.

Conference Objectives

1. Explore with us a new direction for NANDA-I
2. Examine strategies for implementation of NANDA-I and other SNLs across practice settings, including acute care, restorative care, and community health
3. Examine innovative strategies for implementation of NANDA-I and other SNLs in education settings, including ADN, BSN, and Graduate Programs
4. Examine research strategies for development and validation of NANDA-I language and other SNLs
5. Provide opportunities for learning the processes for new diagnosis development
6. Provide opportunities for diagnosis revision
7. Explore areas for collaboration across all standardized nursing languages
