Clinical Consultant

Beacon Partners is looking for an experienced professional to join our firm as a Clinical workflow and Information System Consultant. This position provides a balance of high-level consulting and project management assistance to our clients.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide engagement and project management for combined Beacon/client work teams. Engagement responsibilities may include IT planning and needs assessment, system selection and implementation, project management, interim management, business operational analysis, and workflow redesign. Implementation, support, project management and clinical application expertise is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Four to five years industry experience with health care consulting and / or clinical applications (design or implementation). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of clinical information systems vendor market (Epic, Cerner, Eclypsis etc.). Experience in clinical information systems process improvement and quality initiatives. Project manager experience and familiar with project management tools and techniques. Experience in delivering healthcare services and solutions in a hospital, healthcare vendor or professional services environment is required. Enjoys working with a variety of disciplines, physicians, nursing, and clinical services. Experience in definition, refinement, design, development and delivering of technical and/or business solutions is also required. RN or advanced clinical degree a plus.

Successful candidate will be able to communicate and work effectively with all levels of clients' staff and management. Must be forward thinking, able to meet project deadlines, and be client service oriented. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Organizational and problem solving skills are required. Must possess outstanding written and oral communication abilities.

No relocation is necessary. Extensive travel is required. Location near a major airport is a plus.
