JOB DESCRIPTION: Directs the activities of nursing departments and service line(s) within the hospital. Assists in the strategic planning of complex programs and of quality improvement efforts. Oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, and services which are consistent with the mission, goals, and objectives of the health care system.


About the qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. A master's degree in Nursing. Seven years of Registered Nursing experience of which two years must be in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Positions in this classification may require nursing experience in one or more specialty areas.
