The Division of Information Sciences at the City of Hope National Medical Center, located in Duarte, California (30 miles northeast of Los Angeles) is currently seeking a Systems Analyst. Candidate should have experience with data analysis, data management associated with clinical research and systems evaluation, and analysis tools and methodologies. This position will assist with the analysis, design, development, documentation, implementation and maintenance of business processes related to healthcare information systems. The incumbent will perform the systems analysis function through conducting discovery activities in the areas of workflow analysis and process definition/improvement. Other activities will include the identification of system and process issues that require definition and resolution within the organization.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in systems analysis, nursing, information science, business administration or relevant field and one to two years of experience working with information systems, preferably within a hospital or biomedical research environment. Experience may substitute for preferred education requirement.
