Job Description:

Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, IL is presently seeking a Lead Education Specialist to oversee the training needs of the hospital as it implements electronic medical records using the EPIC system. This position will identify training needs, develop a training plan and curriculum, and facilitate training sessions for healthcare professionals. Qualifications for this leadership position include a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education/adult learning, or related field, master’s degree preferred and previous experience with the implementation and instruction of electronic medical records or clinical information systems for a healthcare system. The Lead Education Specialist must have excellent communication and organizational skills with proven leadership abilities.
