Our Nursing Department is seeking a highly qualified nurse to fill the position of Nursing Informatics Coordinator. The selected individual will coordinate activities related to the ongoing management of nursing clinical information resources, including but not limited to methods and technologies of information management within the Nursing Department.

Minimum Requirements: BSN with three years experience in clinical nursing, one year of which is experience in designing/implementing and monitoring of clinical and/or staffing information systems. Proficiency with Microsoft products, staffing information systems, clinical information systems, patient acuity/classification systems, and Adobe Acrobat products.

License: A current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.

Desirable Qualifications: Prior experience in a nursing leadership role (clinical, educational, or managerial); Experience with implementation and monitoring of the Evalisys Patient Classification System; Experience with design and implementation of systems to provide staffing data analysis; Direct clinical and implementation of Affinity clinical applications; Strong clinical, analytical, organizational, and systems skills; High degree of initiative and ability to function independently and within a team structure; Proficiency in ANSOS/ ONE STAFF; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing Informatics –OR- a Master’s degree with certification in Nursing Informatics.
