Job Summary


This position provides clinical support to Pyxis implementations including equipment assesment, clinical workflow, training, policies and procedure discussions, and post implementation assessments to Pyxis clients. This position works closely with implemenation the Process Manager and Application Specialists to ensure a holistic implementation approach for workflow recommendation and system installations.

This position supports the development of consistent implementation tools and methodologies based on best practices for efficiently installing our systems. The Professional Associate will be responsible for planning, organizing , leading , delivering, and integrating the clinical aspects of the system into each customer’s operation, including clinical implementation changes and streamlinging processes. This position involves extensive customer interaction and service.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Provides clinical implementation support to Pyxis’ clients based on 5P processes and RACI definitions (Scope to include Med Station line of products with a focus on Anesthesia System)
· Works with Professional Associate team to ensure smooth transition from sales process to installation process
· Effectively performs required tasks to ensure timely go-lives and customer satisfaction: performs go-live support when needed
· Performs follow-up evaluation to ensure system optimization and client value realization; performs post-implementation evaluating to assess the value realization level for client and to ensure that the system is being used properly
· Assists in the education and development of Implementation personnel re: professional trends, practices/procedures and use of proformas through mentoring, group presentations etc.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing or an equivalent degree. Licensed as registered pharmacist or nurse required
· 7 to 10 years experience in acute, med surg or critical care environment
· Minimun of 5 years experience managing the implementation, installation and support of advanced computerized healthcare system applications (hospital pharmacy, materials management, or nursing experience) Prefer implementation, consulting, training and healthcare management experience.
· Automation experience requried, Pyxis experience preferred.
· Ability to travel 60%
