PT Monday-Friday 20 hrs.week. Oversees the Perinatal information system (OBIX) and software applications in Labor and Delivery, Special Care Nursery, and Family Centered Care. Plans/maintains all new installations, interface upgrades and user training. Maintains/troubleshoots system and equipment, application dictionaries and report writing functions. Assists with auditing charts for compliance. Shares responsibility for all new employees on user system. Requirements: RN with 5 years experience in OB field. Minimum 1 year experience as application specialist within OBIX system incl teaching, customization, input and database managements. Possess knowledge of legal implications of obstetrical service documentation, joint commission compliance. Good typing and computer skills.

Sibley Memorial Hospital
Sibley Memorial Hospital is a 328-bed private, not-for-profit community hospital located in northwest Washington DC. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetrics, psychiatric and skilled nursing inpatient services. The hospital operates a 24-hour Emergency Department and is recognized as a major provider of surgical services in the area.
