IT Sales Executive - VeriScan Primary objective will be to lead the strategic and territory development of customer reporting and data analysis tools/products in the Western region (candidates must currently reside in the western U.S. near a major airport). Focuses will include Barcode Point-Of-Care sales activities, VeriScan and NetPrint application offerings. Responsibilities will involve serving as clinical liaison to customers on hospital workflow processes, business plan development, competitive analysis, product demonstrations, account maintenance, local trade-show management and system trials. Selected candidate will also collaborate with marketing and development groups with customer feedback and technology advancement opportunities.
3 years healthcare/IT industry sales experience with a focus in Nursing or Pharmacy Strong technical sales background with knowledge of the healthcare information technology industry, products and systems applications. Experience in selling and implementing Medication Management Systems in hospitals Demonstrated strong leadership skills in long-term sales cycles and conceptual value sales Demonstrated tactical selling skills (presentation, quotation, demonstration and closing) Demonstrated strategic selling skills (account analysis and business solution development) Ability to communicate complex technical information in understandable terms to Nursing/Physicians/Pharmacists Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple objectives and interface with multi-functional teams Self-motivated, teamwork spirit, detail oriented Ability to travel up to 70% of the time PREFERRED: MBA or business background 5+ years nursing experience in an acute care setting Previous formal presentation experience at the C-suite levels, specifically with nurses, pharmacists and physicians Our people make Hospira an organization of stature, and we’re proud of our accomplishments.
